I'm currently member of the excellent Gradle Team. As a principal engineer I'm involved in the development of Gradle, the open source next generation build tool. Furthermore I'm supporting customers all over the world to deliver better software faster by providing remote and onsite consulting on implementing software automation, continuous delivery and continuous integration patterns. Spreading the word about continuous delivery and gradle by offering in depth gradle classes or public presentations at local Java User Groups and international conferences is another part of my day to day job. I see software development as a craftsmanship and love connecting with other ambitious developer. Besides working on JVM based languages and tools I like to teach myself other technologies like javascript, erlang and small bit of python. Besides being a core developer at Gradle I am/was involved in other open source projects like the apple packaging system Macports or Griffon, a Grails-like rich application platform.
